A quiet practice, yin yoga involves long holds in gentle postures, allowing body to release and relax deeply. Yin accesses the connective tissues, a matrix web which supports the body structure and organs. The resulting feeling is one of ease and lightness in the body, with greater flexibility of the joints. Yin yoga is perfect balance to more yang strengthening forms of movement and fitness. This practice seeks to relieve the effects of stress, tension, deep fatigue and adrenal exhaustion. Quietening the mind, deep relaxation and restoring energy is the focus.
Practice includes calming pranayama, and stillness meditation.
Yin yoga is suitable for everyone, beginner and advanced yogis, those with injuries, insomnia, stress or seeking to bring greater balance to a fast paced lifestyle.

Dynamic yoga flows based on the seasons, the combined philosophy of 5 element theory (japanese yoga) and Hatha (classical Indian yoga), merging into an energising uplifting vinyasa. Hatha practice balances sun and moon, the male and female energy with each seasons meridian focus. Movement with breath focus, one gains strength, flexibility, balance and grace. Uplifting for the body, mind and spirit. Feel grounded, calm and renewed with vitality.
These classes are general in nature and are accessible to all.
