 Description:

Slow yoga.Yin is a quiet practice with long holds in gentle postures, allowing body to release and relax deeply. Yin accesses the connective tissues (cartilage, tendons, fascia, bones and fluids). The resulting feeling is one of ease and lightness in the body, with greater flexibility of the joints.

Yin yoga for deep relaxation of body and mind. A good practice to counterbalance the more yang practices, fitness regimes and modern life. Yin yoga seeks to relieve the effects of stress, tension, deep fatigue and adrenal exhaustion.

Quietening the mind, deep relaxation and healing injuries. Restoring and balancing energy is the focus.

Practice includes calming pranayama, and stillness meditation.

Suitable for:

Yin yoga is suitable for everyone, beginner and advanced yogis, those with injuries, insomnia, stress or seeking to bring greater balance to a fast paced lifestyle.
